Last month, QSU technicians installed a rental 70′ x 10′ ATV truck scale at Miller Milling in Oakland. The two day job required moving the rental truck scale from our yard in Byron and installing the scale at the Oakland facility. Miller Milling is one of the top four milling operations in the United States with six facilities located across the nation. The Oakland mill is a modern, energy-efficient “green” facility with certified organic processing capabilities. The mill is a winner of a Sustainable Development Award, and is a leader in biodegradable and recyclable packing. The Oakland facility mainly serves customers in the Bay Area and Northern California. The Oakland mill has a 1.4 million pound of wheat capacity and can store 8 million gallons of flour.
