Building communities and businesses, while keeping green… As Walnut Creek, continues to revitalize its lively downtown, Quality Scales Unlimited is part of the city’s upgrades while contributing to a greener California. When structures are razed to make room for city improvements, the resulting concrete is recycled for other uses. Measuring the quantities of concrete rubble is necessary for economic and environmental purposes. In September of 2013, our technicians performed a one day installation of a Belt-Way conveyor scale on an idled belt conveyor for Bay Area Concrete Recycling of Hayward. The new conveyor scale enabled our customer to accurately measure and document the volume of recyclable concrete removed from a construction site on Newell Avenue. We are proud to be part of the building and recycling efforts within our local California communities.
