We’re on the Move! Quality Scales Unlimited successfully tackled the project of moving a 70’ x 10’ three module Unibridge mechanical truck scale from Stockton, California to Fontana, California. Budway, a leader in modal-to-modal inventory management and transporter of rolled metal products challenged us with the job of dismantling their truck scale in Stockton and reassembling it at their headquarters in Fontana almost 400 miles away. This four day job required careful organization of scale parts and components as well as coordination of crane, trucking company, Budway staff and our QSU technicians. After the truck scale was successfully disassembled, the job required Quality Scales Unlimited to safely transport, lift, place, install and calibrate the relocated truck scale on the newly built above ground foundation.

As a result of the impressive Fontana truck scale installation, it looks like QSU may have a future job at the Stockton Budway location!
